Beaver trapping wasn’t the best this year but not the worst, either. We ended up with 13 about like this one held here by my brother in law.

Don Hanson III slimline trapper in old ass micarta with a W2 blade. Light, quick and effective (and cleans up nice, too!).

2 inches for David, and 4 7/16ths for Goliath. The little Rough Rider open is actually shorter than either blade on the Remington, :D:thumbsup: But the RR is exceptional fit and finish, quite snappy to, zero gaps,centered blades. Scalpel sharp, MOP covers. Its amazing how well made it is to be so small.
