Here’s a Chuck Hawes in white bone and a W2 blade with a hamon. It’s his Small Remington Trapper. 4 inches with a single blade just over 3 inches. Not a lockback and without a lanyard hole and no bullet shield. But is does have a squared of bolster. It’s around 3/4’s the size of a Remington 1303.

Overcast earlier this morning but it’s already cleared up. Good Tuesday to you.

Thanks Dave. I’ve bought three Hawes now. I believe the damascus bolsters add some weight. The knife feels substantial. I think they are a great value. Yesterday I almost bought his Seahorse model with some purple dyed maple scales. I chose his Seahorse with some really nice looking red linen micarta though. Another knife Sophie’s Choice. Tough call.
