  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

TRAPPER TUESDAY

Happy New Year fellow trapper fans !!!

This is an interesting knife considering the traditional 2-blade "trapper pattern" became popular in the 1920's and New York Knife Co went of business in 1931; so they challenged the conventional trapper pretty early on with the single blade trapper pattern ;) Hmmm, were they one of the first single blade trapper manufacturers? o_O

Don't know if it's the first, but it sure is cool that one of my favorite knife patterns has a rich history. Thanks for sharing it.

I agree, that's some great info! I'm a single blade trapper fan too. It's nice to see that it isn't some very recent modification and that it has some history, with a well regarded Cutlery name, behind it. Thanks for posting!

Your excellent single blade trapper has always made me want one as well!
