Trash or Treasure?

Treasure for sure. That knife has history. It may or may not be good history, but still, history none-the-less. Sharpen it up and use it!
 
Less than 10 years ago I used to throw out Colonial and Imperial knives like the one in the OP. There was no market for them, certainly no collectors that I knew of. Amazing how times change in just a few short years, what was overlooked or discarded then is now collected.

You can still get new camper pattern knives. Except for people, the older things get the more valuable they become. Odd, huh?
