Good morning gents,

I’m wondering how you guys store your knife collection for on the go. I’m looking for some sort of case that’s conducive to being laid out at a campsite.

Can anybody here recommend one or a system for traveling? Something to lug them all in.

I currently have mine in a wrench roll, but, I haven’t found one big enough.

I would appreciate any recommendations.

Thanks!

You two convinced me, a duffel bag it is! Thanks!

Don’t tell Eddie Bauer he’s “nothing fancy”. Lol

I like how your case opens. Easy access.
I think I'm going to get a new bag. Maybe surplus. This one is wearing out on the inside I noticed this past weekend.

i got myself one of the Rigid brand small suit case tool boxes - kinda like an otter box - water proof (claimed) seal, tough, handle.

note the small model, the lid has an insert which can be removed to add a hole new level of space. holds a lot.

into that i could put individual rolls of tools, knives, etc.

right now i'm building one out with timber framing tools and such like...

the next size up taller model would be ideal for a lot of "big stuff", has solid side handles too, they stack, and lock

they're not terrible expensive and i expect they'd work good for camping and bringing all sorts of things, better than rubbermaid anyway

but there's a limit on what you can really carry edc :)

Hey guys.

Depending on the size of the blades, another option is a tool roll. Been in use for centuries. Put them in the sleeves, roll it up, and throw it in whatever case you want. When you unroll it everything is easily accessible since it spreads everything out flat.

B&B, that’s what I was using but the 9 didn’t fit well and the 21 didn’t fit. I hope to someday get my mits on a 20 and that would probably be problematic too.

Here’s my case:

Plenty of room!

Custom gear, if you can dream it, you can build it.
