not really, but with the airline bandits on the loose i don't want to risk my dear knives, or my swisstool, so i'm only packing the orange mora (which is dear, but cheap) and the gerber mp400.

when i arrive i'll re-equip. great reason to buy new steel, right?

suggestions for a winter in st. louis? i'll be back in march. i don't even know if i'll be able to leave the city, but you never know.

i'm thinking gossman psk and, if i can find one, a GB mini. considering BRKT.

i want to keep the list short.

mag how bout the ag russel woodswalker?? dandy little cutter aus-8 steel you can get a pocket or a neck sheath for relatively inexpensive, and the knives themselves retail for about 10 bucks so you can bring 2 and not care if one or both get lifted... also very sheeple friendly.

If you already have the address where you will be staying, you can just USPS or UPS yourself a care package and not worry with the airlines. A good way to send you St. Louis "gets" back home too!

St Louis is fun! Smaller sized knives? For what uses in the city?

main use? general use knife, but also entertainment. i rely on few of the knives i own. truth be told i could just pick up a vic soldier over there and be taken care of. how many of you don't fiddle with your knives throughout the day? inspecting, holding, cutting randomly, touching up...knife freak stuff.

I do the knife freak stuff which drives my wife crazy. I also go to CA for the summer. I send my knives out there and purchase one or two while I am there. Then send the whole thing box back insured of course.
