So I'm doing some spring shop cleaning, and moving the tools that I have upgraded or don't use. I figure other people could get a whole lot more use out of them than I do currently.

EDIT: I do take paypal.

First up is an almost completely new Coote grinder, 2x72 with 10 inch contact wheel. I bought this just shortly before I won Rob Frink's contest for a KMG-PL package, so the total 'use time' on this is probably only a handful of hours.

It has the 10" contact wheel, and included are the 9" disc sander attachment, which has never even had any paper applied to it yet, the optional tool rest for the contact wheel, a 6-5-4 inch Maska step pulley (the larger size is great for matching up with a 4-3-2 on your motor and getting 3 very usable speeds, since the belt is direct driven from the 10 inch wheel) these combined cost me 650 new about 1 year ago.

Asking $495 + shipping. It's approximately 40lbs SOLD

Next up is a LectroEtch V-10A etching power unit. This is a heavy duty professional model with both AC and DC etch, a dial to change the resistance, and a switch to allow intermittent etch (this pulses the etch which causes less heat generation and makes your stencils last much longer) Red clip goes to your blade, black clip to your etch pad.

Asking $100 + shipping SOLD

Lastly (for this post, there will be more) is my inline treadle hammer. This hammer is very adjustable, with throat depth, head spring tension, treadle return spring tension, treadle motion range, etc all able to be adjusted. The head on the hammer and the base are removable / changeable dies ( I only ever made flat dies, or used my hardie tools in the bottom with a flat die top ) This is a great hammer, but it just doesnt get use in my shop. This is PICK UP ONLY at my shop/house in Woonsocket RI. It fits fine in the bed of a normal pickup truck.

Asking $400 for the treadle hammer, less than it cost to build.SOLD

Here are a bunch of photos.

Next batch of stuff. I've got 6 forges in my shop... i dont need 6 forges !

Indian George Propane forge, 8 inch diameter, 12 inches long, single burner blown forge, needs blower / air gate and propane hose / regulator. You can stack some firebricks behind it to close the back, that's what I do. It is equipped with a brass quick connect currently, as the one propane hose in my shop ends with a quick connect, that way I don't need multiple hoses. Asking 150$ Heavy, will have to inquire about shipping if you cant do local pickup.

Next is a 10 inch diameter 22inch long dual burner venturi forge. This one needs to be re-lined, and i have the kaowool to re-line it (included) This one has both a quick connect and a ball valve on the propane input, just needs a hose and regulator. This one did not get to welding temps, but got to forging temps just fine. Asking 100$ Heavier than the above forge, again would have to inquire about shipping costs. SOLD

Lastly my fly press. This is a very nice old fly press. It's a smaller one, but very useful for forging and tooling. The fly arm is 50lbs, throat depth is i believe 7 inches, the recievier hole is 3/4" round. Included are a clamp plate made for it, a hardy hole plate, a tool extender / die holder 3/4" round shaft 3/4" round reciever. A hot cut tool, and 20 ready-to-go tool shafts that just need pieces of tooling welded to the faces. Total weight, including the heavy duty stand built for the fly press, is around 700 lbs. It is in fantastic condition, the four lead screw has sharp corners on all leads and it spins easily on it's own momentum. Kept well oiled. This is most closely probably the equivalent of the #2 flypress sold by oldworldanvils but much sturdier, and with a base, and some tooling etc. Pickup only, asking basically what it cost me $700

I'll take it. PM on the way.

The treadle hammer and the fly press are both probably sold pending payment. I'll update if they go or not.

I'll try to get a quote today. Unfortunately it looks like shipping might be just as much as the forge itself right now.

Justin let me know if both forges are available. I may be interested in one, and possibly make a day trip (depending on the drive time) to come grab it.

Will pick up the 22in forge, maybe both if the shipping costs are too high. I'm not too far a drive it looks like.

When i asked at FedEx today for a 24x18x18 box weighing 60lbs they estimated around 75 dollars in shipping. The smaller one looks like it could probably ship for around $55.

Fletch, right now Nsaglibene has first 'dibs' / refusal based on having contacted me first, but I will keep you updated ASAP as soon as I find out either way on one or both of the forges.

I've got a few more things that I will be posting up here later today / earlier tomorrow including a coal forge firepot with tuyre / clinkerbreaker, a large 'portable' canvas sided doublechamber great bellows (that I used for re-enactment blacksmithing all last year) and other misc. smithing tools.

I'll take the dual burner forge.

Whats the best way of reaching you for some reason I can't figure out how to send messages anymore.
