Tonight on Versus at 10:00pm eastern
An update on his health problems and what he's doing to deal with it.
 
I'm on Direct TV so I can't get versus. If you don't mind, would you post an update on his situation. I hope he is making progress.

Tred Barta has had a series of tv programs on Versus about hunting. But he does things the old way. Wild boar with knife, various animals with longbow he made himself. Sadly he had a rare spinal stroke which has left him paralysed from waist down but he's already back to shooting his bow !

I thought they found it it was some blood disorder.A form of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma.

He was always saying that he did things "the hard way" and was somewhat controversial. However, it was interesting to watch him stalk Griz with a homemade longbow and homemade cedar arrows. Unfortunately, my DirectTV service no longer includes Versus so I can't tell you what was presented on the show.

He is a freakin legend! I had Direct TV. I just got Fios and realized just how many good shows I was missing. The grizzly with home made bow and cedar arrows is my favorite episode. Tred is a stud. I wish him well.

If that's not the "hard way" I am not sure what is, maybe stalk hunting a Bull Moose with a hangmans knot made of cornsilk. ;)
