I am posting this especially for that Ole Treerat Eating Injun. Jay Mulcahy drew this Xmas card for me he got his inspiration from John and my debates on the consumption of rats and bottom feeders. :D

Edited, didn't want to step on the original post.
My dad makes the best tree rat ever. He fries it then bakes it slow in the oven to make it tender and it makes the gravy at the same time. I am guessing he adds milk with the pan scrapings. Don't know, I better ask!

Want expecting that:)

Jay can draw! I was expecting a cartoon of some sort badly depicting the the tree rat.

No kidding! That's a fine likeness! ... No, I mean of a squirrel! So Jay, how are you at bottom feeders? :D I can see a logo growing out of this.

Mr. Jay that squirrel looks alive -- that is real art.

There is nothing better than a pan full of squirrels unless you happen to be my Grand daughter. One time I told her that next week I would make something she would like -- and then said How about chickes and bunnys -- then she really got upset :D

IG, Jay is some serious artist! Hey, beautiful card, for a rascal bottom feeder eater! Actually, I think ol' IG is a closet squirrel eater.

John: You may be right us Portagee's are know for a wide range cuisine. Some red wine, garlic and HT'g relish will make you forget that they are RATS. :barf: :D
Jay, is a talented artist and now he is turning his talent to knife making.

Lets see what you posted. :D

Hi guys, thanks for the compliments, I appreciate them. As to which is better, tree rat or "bottom feeders" that's a toss up had both plenty of times and still cant decide! Hey John, why dont you call them what the Lobstahmen
around heah do............. "Bugs"! Pretty creepy name for something that costs
anywhere from $6 to $9 dollars a pound.

Jay; Please, if I put a fried rat and a boiled lobster in front of you, wouldn't you take the bottomfeeder?????? Don't lie I know you have Portugee blood in you. :p :D

I'm not real big on bugs in the first place, and I'm really not into big bugs. I know why you don't draw bottom feeders - they're ugly! At least tree rat can show a little mammilan personality... :D

Just give me a hamburger or a taco or a bowl of chili any day, I don't need fancy food to keep the fires burning. You guys enjoy your down home feasting, I'm going for PBJ and coffee. ;)

Fried rat, bottom feeder, mudbugs, and a little rattlesnake thrown in. Now this is starting to sound like dinner.

Ya'll make me hungry!

The whole tree rat talk thing made me think of a picture I made with paint shop pro of a friends cat on the archery forum. He is a die hard mathews brand bow shooter and I made his cat shooting a hoyt brand bow. It's a whole Chevy/Ford debate thing. But anyway, after I posted I got thinking that I was taking away from the beautiful artwork that you posted and deleted the picture just because I didn't want to be disrespectful to the artist. But I will put a link to the picture that I posted. It's stupid but it got quite a few laughs over there. :)
Cat picture

We can throw some cat in that mix of dinner foods there too. I am not opposed to cat or dog either.

Now we got some dinner stuff happening! Hobo stew!

Doc: Do you have any fingers or toes to spare. I wouldn't suggest any other appendage that you possess due to lack of size. :p
