OK boys
Here she is!!!!
My Case XX Throwin' knife
Stuck her on the 2nd throw !!

I took a side tour from Solvang up to Figueroa Mt.
http://www.fs.fed.us/r5/lospadres/recreation/camping/slrd/index.shtml#figueroa
An old UCSB homie had to get away from LA for the week
He decided to camp at Fig Mt. for MLK Day Weekend
The camping is FREE
I cruised up everynight and BBQ'd
(Blasted some guns and listened to Chinese Democracy..good stuff!)
Then drove back to my house and slept in my king size pillow top bed
I know, I'm a wussy
It was chilly at night and gas is ONLY $1.98 a gallon now......

My new Timberline Mini Pit Bull neck knife
(excuse the auto focus malfunction...I guess I should have used manual focus...)

The Santa Ynez Valley (Of Sideways and Neverland fame)
Looking SOUTH towards the ocean
Santa Barbara's coast faces SOUTH
It took me about a month to get used to looking at the ocean SOUTH, instead of WEST

Looking north from Fig Mt. Lookout

The lookout is all run down
Must be the budget cuts

Sunset facing south
You can kinda see the ocean

Macro lens pics

Sorry
No fatwood, fire strikers, 9 volt and steel wool, feather sticks, etc.
I jacked a bunch of pallets from my friend's business for wood!!
I'm not a huge fan of the Los Padres National Forest
Too much shrubbery, not enough rivers and pine trees
But, it's only about 40 mins from my house and it has some nice views....
