It's one of the toughest I've owned, along with my GZilla. Paul can make a lifetime Hard Use knifeThanks, It seems to be a well built knife the way it's held up to batoning that wood and all.
Sorry I missed your post my friend...Dang! I need more coffee I just noticed your design and I'm a big clip point blade lover myself also. How long is the blade going to be 6" or 7"?
Where is the Carn-Edge?...
Seriously though; what is the ETA on that knife; I'm curious to see that design come to life.
Sorry, I put a little more tip back in herAwesome review man. I love the design of the knife. O-1 with the right heat treat is a lot tougher than some people give it credit for That tip would be driving me insane at this point though. I'd have to pointy that thing back up if I had to grind it on a concrete wall lol.
I'll be posting the diagrams and specs on it this evening. Its in the process as we speak ;-)
I will talk to PMoore on ETA tonight...probably 3 months, he just got the metal in last week. It excites me to see my friends here as excited about it's start, finish, & my Hard Use. Thanks for yall's inspiration. I believe the CARNEYEDGE is going to fill a niche for a Medium Hard Use, WSK, Utility, & even Combat knife. I feel like it will be one of my best designs. I know Paul already has 5 or 6 to be make, just based on my design. I am glad he & his customers have that faith in my designs. It's birthed from years of Knife Use, not collecting them. I know what I want,& what works,& I demand a knife that performs as a knife but can handle Hard Use...I live hard, so I want my equipment to be able to hang with me. Plus I have two other Very cool designs that are smaller, & different for me I'm very excited about. The K.A.K. & Copperhead. Be posting pics soon.
GOD Bless
Chuck Carney
Couldn't agree with u more my BrotherThat's more like it![emoji106]
Three months sounds like a while but it'll go by so fast. Looking forward to the update when it arrives. [emoji106]Medium sized blades (right around 7" blade) are so useful IMHO; great overall size for portability and a variety of uses.
