On the Tri-angle sharp maker it says that you use the corners of the triangle to sharpen the serrations, but how does it work when you sharpen the two different sizes of serrations, that are on the Spyderedge? One would think that you would need two different sizes on the triangle corners as well.
Are the corners of different sizes, or how does it work?

Dr Heelhook,

By my eye,the corners are the same sizes. Do you actually have the Sharpmaker, or are you just reading about it online? If you have one, read the booklet (page7) and/or watch the DVD. Both tell and illustrate exactly what to do. I have used it on all my different serrated edges, and it works fine regardles of style or size variance.

Hope this helps.

Ok, that sounds promising.

No, I don't have one, but I'm interested in one. I was just curious to know how it works.

The corners are all the same size. The corners are for getting in between the scallops on SE knives. The only issue you might have is if the serrations are so slim, that the corners can't get into the scallops of that particular model, which is rare.
