This is a hemp wrapped and epoxy soaked version of my Talon wharncliffe.
The handle is completely soaked in epoxy and is very durable and grippy.
The flats are a forge finish, and the bevels are a scotch brite belt finish.
Here are the specs.

OAL - 8.125"
Blade - 4.25"
Steel - .125" L6 (heat treat done by me in a digitally controlled Evenheat kiln)
Handle - Hemp wrapped and epoxy soaked
Sheath - 10oz veg tan
100% sole authorship, made in the USA
Price SOLD
Thanks for looking!!

Very nice. That is one wicked edge. Is the wrap a problem when using it to process game. Is the handle material a problem when it needs to be cleaned or does it clean up well under running water?

It is completely sealed and soaked in 2 ton epoxy, it should be every bit as durable as any normal handle. plus it very grippy to hold since it has sort of a ribbed texture.

Beautiful blade and really like the sheath. Did you make it as well? Do you do custom sheaths by chance?

Yes sir, I do everything on my knives in house. From the mosaic pins, to heat treat, and sheaths.
Shoot me an email if there is a sheath project you want a quote on.

It's yours Bob, I will get it out tomorrow!

Whew. Thanks, Bob. This one's been on my mind since it was originally posted. Love this combo, Ben.
