Tribute to Chopper.

Sounds like Chopper had a loving family for his life.
RIP big guy
I hope the walk over the "Rainbow Bridge" is a good one!

All good now. My boys were there. My folks to. By the time we got to the vet he would not even move. He really likes his vet, normally jumps all over him. Not this time. Vet gave him the shot and that was it.

I am very sorry for your loss. I feel losing a dog is one of the hardest things we go thru in life. They make quite a contribution to our lives in their short time on earth. People talk about unconditional love, while dogs freely give it every day. Take care and God bless you.

Sorry for the loss. I know it's hard. Have an English Bulldog that I raised from a pup that is about to be 6 yo, and it kills me to think that he only has a couple more years. Been my constant companion for so long

Many times over the years, and there were lots of them, we thought chopper was a gunner. He was even shot one time when we lived in Tennessee, he kept on trucking. He had about 15 plus years. Your guy may do the same. Our vet said it's very common these days.

Hello ThumbTack 01,to you and your loved one's my deepest sympathy with your loss, know what it is to say goodbye to men's best friend.never forget and maybe in time there will be another "best friend"!all the best!

Thanks all, and I don't know. Never went looking for a dog before, they just kind of come and live with me.

Much Love to Chopper, the rainbow bridge is brighter today. We lost our 18 yr old yellow Lab, Abbey last year this time, So many memories to cherish as will you. One of the hardest things that a person will have to do.
Excellent post and great comments!!
