Tribute to Ethan Becker by Waltman Knives

Those are some serious beasts! Great work man, thanks for posting. Also welcome to the forum!

I've got an old hot water heater you could baton through with one of those bad boys if you want it :D

FWIW, if the hot water heater is an electric, you can get the anode out of it, it'll be a bar of nearly pure magnesium, the same stuff people buy and use for fire making.

I'm diggin' the thickness of the smaller one. Just phenominal.

These are some nice "clones" (If I'm not being disrepectful)

Nice job!!!!

Well, if you wanna email me, my email is wrknives@yahoo.com :) or if you wanna let me know how to get ahold of you. Those knives are just my style man, awesome work! They look like they can get any Job . done! And if there is gonna be a passaround of that knife^^ I definitely want in:D

Thanks guys.
Wow, a hot water heater with magnesium in it. So I can baton through it and get an explosion too. Cool. Sounds like an episode of Myth Busters. I promise to show more pics soon, and when I get home tonight , I will try to upload some pics of my other stuff just for fun. When I get moved into my new house and get my shop set up, I'll make some kydex sheaths for them and post some pics of that. It might be a while though, they haven't broke ground yet, but soon hopefully.

Take care All.

Here it is as promised.
The HD 5, HD 8, and HD 11. Each are just under 3/8" thick. These are all great choppers with the weight forward blades, and the curved handles really helps to reduce fatigue to the hand and wrist since the blade is set forward naturally. The downside is the lack of the finger hook that is present in the Becker design, so as the grip loosens, the knife wants to slide out of the hand. Since making knives with a Becker styled handle, I don't plan to go back to this style.

all these knives are really nice....I'd love to destroy this railroad tie I have in the backyard. Let me test one.....please?!! LOL

Good lookin' work!
A bit thick for my tastes but I could see how one could support an airplane (and the aircraft carrier) with one of them. How do they cut?
