I’m not so uncivilized as to wear white after Labor Day. Think seasonally appropriate for autumn. Reds, yellows, browns, etc.

As to the op, I’m thinking something along the lines of a ‘deep leather sheath’. Could be kydex, but I’ve only seen leather this way. Something kind of like this….

The entire blade and handle would be enclosed by the sheath, with only the finger hole pommel exposed for drawing. Should make for much safer extraction, though the edges of you pocket may disagree. If this all turns out to be too difficult, maybe leave your pockets be and switch to boots?

My $.02, for a deep carry pocket blade, this is the wrong blade for that no doubt. There are much better choices/options out there to fill that role. But modifying pockets to fit a blade over 8” long, seems like a solution looking for a problem.
