I need about 3" of 1/4" x 1" tricolor twist pattern mokume to finish a knife and Im having trouble finding that size. If its a little thicker that .25 thats fine

Does anyone out there have a piece they would be willing to sell me?
If you do, you can email me at Mike@adammichaelknives.com or call me at

Unless Mike isn't making any more - Why don't you just buy a piece from any of the suppliers. Jantz. TKS, K&G, etc. used to all carry it, IIRC. 3X.25X1" is the stock size.

Obviously because I cant find any 3 x .25 x 1 tri color twist. If I could, I WOULD buy it.
I can have Mike Sakmar custom make a piece that size and wait 6 weeks for it.
I can find 3/16 thick but thats to thin. I can find 3/8" thick but I don't want to grind away 40% of the mokume if someone has a piece they are willing to sell.

I just checked Jantz, and they show 4X1/4X1.5" tri color twist.
Also, you could forge down the 3/8" stuff to near 1/4" .

4X1/4X1.5 is not 3x1/4x1, again, your missing the point.

Im going to assume that no one has any drop off mokume they arent using and might be willing to sell.

I have a few smaller pieces of mokume that wont work for this project so if anyone needs mokume please let me know before you go out an "just buy it"
I might have what you need.:D

Thanks Michael

Sorry, Just offering two alternatives.
I guess you will just have to custom order it and wait 6 weeks ( but it always ends up longer than that).
( and I get the point).
