My favorite part about Trident is that if you want something done differently, they'l usually do it for you. I wanted a longer version of their Oberland O-3, and he made me one. Very easy people to deal with.

My Oberland 03 is 6" from the start of the grind, 5" from the first sharp edge to the tip, and 6 1/8" from the front of the handle.

How much longer did you have your Oberland 03 made to and does it effect the balance much?

I agree with whoever said that talking to Kathy was a pleasent experience. She will bend over backwards to get you what you want from Marceij(sp?).
