Tried a new woods tool today

Tried out this Browning woods tool today. I cut a bunch of walking stick blanks and used it to chop off the small branches and then shaved a bunch of bark off. I like the way it works for me. It has good chopping power but it's very easy to control and do finer cuts and trimming. I don't know what they call it but it has about a four inch cutting edge and is about 12 inches overall. It's shaving sharp and didn't loose much edge from what I did with it today.
 
Are you sure that isn't the ice scraper for your car windshield :D:D:D
 
Thats the "Browning 115 Camp Axe". Steel is listed as "Chrome-plated, high-carbon cutlery steel"
 
Thanks for looking that up. I have had the tool all winter but finally got out to give it a try. It's going to be a handy tool to keep in my work truck. I will get some action shots of it now that its above Zero.:D
