I've decided to share my love of Spencer A. Reiter and his Hornet knife....I've sought and finally tracked down the three original offerings from German manufacturer Pohl Force....the Custom Edition, the Cocobolo Edition and the Ebony Edition. The Custom Edition shows some signs of wear from removing and reinserting into the kydex/tekloc sheath but the other two are brand new and unused with custom leather!! Specs are as follows:
*7 1/8" OAL
*3.25" cutting length
*Green micarta handles on Custom Edition and Cocobolo and Ebony handles on the other two
*D2 blade steel/full-tang construction
*Custom Edition, 454 of 500 made
*Sharp
*.22' thick
*Beautiful multi-carry EDC knife!!
*Kydex with Tekloc on the Custom Edition with brown custom leather on the Cocobolo and black leather on the Ebony
*I have the green carry case(plus all paperwork and goodies) for the Custom Edition and the two black carry cases(plus goodies and paperwork) for the other two
I will break up the three as follows:
*$255.00 Custom Edition
*$325.00 Cocobolo Edition
*$350.00 Ebony Edition
**I will offer a 3% discount on two knives and 5% on purchase of all three!!
