Trimming the length of a ceramic/glass platen

Hey, I was wondering what I could use to trim the length og my ceramic platen from usaknifemaker. It's a few inches too long, I was thinking of making using a cut off disc on my angle grinder but I'd rather ask first. Thanks in advance! :)

borrow a neighbors tile saw and use a diamond blade, it will cut it like butter.
