Photos Trip Report: Bighorn River/Crescent Falls Hike

Great pics, and that's a big understatement.
Wonderful to see the enthousiasm and stunning scenery.
You had some great company on you trip :)
Thanks knoefz, glad you liked the pics.

What a fantastic trip! It is such a good thing to get your children outside. The dogs like it too. Thanks so much for taking the time to post photos of your trip.
Yeah she was bragging to her friends about the trip before we went. Although I’m not sure just how jealous these city girls were haha.

Beautiful country there Aiki!

Cute dogs...check
Cute kid...check

Time spent with loved ones out in the wilderness...priceless!

Thanks bravo, glad you enjoyed it. We sure did. Managed to check off all the important boxes on this one lol.

Gorgeous Location…. Everything by me is crawling with people...

Posts like this, make me want to be a better Dad...Ha. :D
Good Job! She is learning more in that one weekend than one can imagine.... *Not even the outdoorsy stuff.
Awesome Post!
Thanks Crag. We saw one group of horseback riders the whole weekend. Other than that, felt like we had the whole valley to ourselves. Even the campground where the trail started from only had like two groups in it. The cooler weather seems to have kept most people at home. Fine by us :D

Some of my favorite memories as a kid were camping.
Great post and great pics.
Looks like a wonderful time.
Mine too trailbum. Yeah I’m hoping she really develops a passion for the outdoors.

Great Outing Aiki. Your daughter looks like she had a blast. She needs an Honorary BH# FYI I'm going to use that spice bottle in the shot shell carrier idea.

Pure awesome. That’s a dad’s dream. My kids always build a fairy house/campsite when we’re camping. We usually bring little trinkets and add them to their fairy spot when they’re sleeping.

Thanks for sharing the trip!

Are those black bears (cubs and mother bear) in your second set of pictures?

The shot with your daughter and dog in the second set of pictures is EXCELLENT. (3rd from bottom on Post #4); the vertical.

Looks like a great weekend outing. I'm jealous.

Glad you liked the pics. No, no bears seen on this trip. Actually, didn’t see any wildlife at all out there. Probably because we threw a bell on the dog so he wouldn’t sneak up on anything. Or lead anything back to camp.

And I agree, she can be quite photogenic at times. Much more so than her father. Come to think of it, the dog’s probably more photogenic than me :D

Edit: I think I see which photo you’re referring to. The one from above looking down at the campsite? That’s my rain cover on my backpack, plus some stuff sacks for the pots and pans hanging on the trees.
