Trip Report - Hamilton Lake, Sequoia NP

Wow, I hadn't heard of this area of Sequoia before but man it is amazing. Beautiful pics once again.

It is absolutely beautiful. Another place to go, if you haven't been there already, is Mineral King. It's every bit as beautiful!

Excellent photos. I really liked the reflective shot, but all are beautiful and capture the majestry of the area very well.

Absolutely beautiful! Thanks for sharing your trip with us!

What is really bad is that I have lived here for over eight years, and I can see the Kaweahs, Eagle Scout Peak, and the peaks above Mineral King from my house, but this is my first time to go to Hamilton Lake. I try to make a couple trips out of Mineral King every year, it is a nice spot with quick access to the high country.

It seems that the reflection shots are popular, here is a slightly different angle.

And here is another shot of Hamilton Dome, from a different angle:

My father is an avid photographer, and I picked up some of his photography habits, and take plenty of pictures. I took 743 pictures on this trip - every subject that struck my fancy, under every possible lighting condition.
