Trip to the Emerson showroom

Awesome! Get a couple of shirts while you are there.... I would call them first and let them know you are going to swing by. You'll see why when you get there.

H--I'll do my best with the pics; I think that they'll be willing if asked properly. Newknif... that's exactly why I'm going--to see if the Ubr is just that much more "uber" than all the others. And dcmartin, more info please! I actually called today and mentioned that I was going to try to drive down tomorrow (which is still a bit tentative... schedule is tight). Info, brother, info... knowledge is power! :D

Aias, have someone hold the camera and tape when Ernie comes out and begins to lay four styles of Judu and Karate on you after you heist a knife for Rolf. People would pay to see that.

Hahahah! Good one! I have a black belt in Aikido, practice Ueshi Ryu Karate, and know a fair amount of jujitsu (various styles)... I hope I know enough to at least get away with my life! And my knife!

Don't fly, but did get to where there was a high speed internet connection. The place is very low profile. Did you get offered a tour of the shop, or is that off limits?
 
Aias, hope you don't mind me bumping your thread and adding a couple of pics. :)

I stopped by Emerson today to ask for a little assistance centering a blade and got to check out the showroom and handle a few patterns While I was there. Next week is payday so I wanted to feel out the possibilities. The CQC-7B tanto coated has been on my mind for a while and it is very tempting. The Tiger is awesome, obviously, and the Commander is super comfy. I didn't catch the name of the fella who assisted me with the centering of my knife but he was very helpful and friendly and said I could snap a couple of pictures.

Very cool to stop by the spot these great knives come from :thumbup:

Hey! Cool pics man! I was just contemplating a trip again soon; I live up the freeway from the shop... yeah, it is so tempting to be there! Last time, I picked up an Ubr Commander.
