J/K - nice pics and good eyes on the baldie! I'm fascinated by where nature has started reclaiming man-made things.
 
the pics where it looks like a long line of grass on the beach is a perfect straight line of crushed cars the power of the river is amazeing
 
What is the story with all the cars and such?

the town ,is on the edge of the river and when it floods .it take evere thing in its grith and down stream it goes .the trees and bolders that wash down stream mash the cars flat
 
Thanks. We don't normally see that kind of thing around here. The last time (that I can think of) something like that happened around here was when Mt St Helens errupted in 1980. In fact I can only think of three major floods that have taken place in the last 15 years. I sure there are others, including minor ones that did minimal damage, that I'm not aware of.
