Triple Aught Design History?

For abuse taken, their stuff takes alot. I've used Tad gear from Alaska to the equator. Oh yeah did I mention the lightspeed kicks ass.

They have new releases every Friday and re-stocks. Some of their more popular items go really quick so you have to be quick if you want to get what your looking for.
Clothing is all very high quality and will last years of use. I'm a fan of their hoodies.
They recently came out with a production Dauntless to meet all the demand for a TAD knife. Usually they contract custom knife makers to re create the Dauntless design.

They have some great stuff, shame the price is too high to justify a purchase.
I have two merino preatorian hoodies (bought few years ago) and i wear them alot, the quality is great, but so many other outdoor manufactors have made improvements to their gear in the last couple of years.
So why pay a $100,- for a shirt when i can get good quality stuff from other brands as well.

I have the ranger and it was worth every penny some people don't like the placement of the pockets in the front but with body armor on or a pack I find them easier to get too. I used mine and just at shirt all winter long and I live on the river so the wind really whips thru my area which is richmond va . It was plenty warm and at times too warm. Also the hood lays flat and doesn't bunch up when you get in a car. Have no fear when getting this hoody the ranger is worth the money.

I originally asked this question because of the TAD items I sometimes see on the exchange here. Little nick knacks selling for immoral anounta of money...

So I knew TAD when they were on Linden Street in Oakland, there is a brewery there now!
My first walk into the store it was really exciting. Lots of knives, BMs, Kershaw, SAK, lots of Striders. They had all kinds of survival gear like fire starters, mini compasses including the sweet NATO one. It was the first retailer to stock a Sparklite that I can recall.

On following visits they got more "Tacticool", more military looking, less production knives, more Striders and very pricey customs and TAD collaborations.

When they moved to SF everything changed, I will not discuss the SF store other than say don't bother.
Too bad at first they were an EDC geek's wet dream.

The Linden St store was the best; bought my Buck Mayo there when nobody else had them. They don't seem to carry much in the way of knives anymore.
