Trouble chooseing a Khukuri ....

There is no difficulty in choosing a khuk to get, in fact you'll probably find four or six to buy.

Making up your mind which is THE one, and not buying the other five, now that's more difficult.
 
...especially when the other five start popping up on the forum as Crazy Pala Giveaways.
 
Being that my mail in Hawthorne is canceled in Reno ( OSHA had a hissy with the canceling machines in the Boonies - apparently they had uncovered belt drives. ) So now all mail goes 132 miles to Reno, get canceled there and if it just goes from Box 1436 to Box 1636 in Hawthorne ( about 4 feet ) it takes a 264 mile round trip to do it.

Anyway, I bought my first by calling Uncle Bill on a Monday, he dropped it in the mail that afternoon, I got it in the mail Tuesday, called and ordered two more on Wednesday, and got them Thursday. 3 khuks in 4 days.

PS: this may or may not work on Friday shipments. The mail clerk sometimes knows what it is and puts it in a lockbox, with the key to it in my box if he suspects it's a khuk. If it's someone else's turn to work Saturday I have to wait til Monday.
 
When I worked in the post office at Cherokee, Kansas the cancelling machine looked like a hammer. You picked it up, hit an ink pad and then hit the stamp. Dates were changed by hand using the old typesetter style type.
