Trouble Shooting A Burner

I used 2 inches of the wool and a later of satanite. I did finally get it figured out all that I had to do is move the flare out and it made it better. Yes you where corrects about my mounting of the burner and it did stick out a little but I have sence changed that to a more adjustable version. The burner is working great as of now so hopefully there won't be anymore problems.
