These Knives are all hand knapped by myself, Teddy R Pruitt.
I started knapping at the age of 13 and have now been knapping for around 13 years.
All my knives are satisfaction guaranteed!

for those of you who want to know about obsidian , check this out http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Obsidian
and this, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Knapping

Now, let it be known that Obsidian, being a natural "glass" can be very sharp,
but also very brittle. So this is not a type of blade you would want for everyday use (that's what all the quality steel blades listed on this site are for) but should be considered "collectible art pieces" reminiscent of the stone age, before man learned the superior properties of iron and steel.

All the blades are hafted to a whitetail antler handle, using high strength epoxy and artificial sinew. I do not offer a sheath, as you will most likely put this in your display case anyways

I knapped this flint blade in an authentic style of a Hardin type knife and hafted it to an old stick I've had in my barn for a while. It is a hardwood but I don't know what type. After cutting and sanding on the butt end of the stick I noticed the really cool flower shaped growth rings.
The blade is attached using epoxy and wrapped with artificial sinew which I then rubbed some epoxy into to keep it from unraveling.
The knife is 8 7/8" overall with a 4 3/8" Hardin style flint blade
SOLD
Thanks for looking

I have two stone blades here that I've knapped from obsidian.
The first is 5 3/8" total length with about a 4 1/4" cutting edge. The stone is Spiderweb obsidian in black and brown swirls.
They are ready to be hafted into the handle of your choice.

It usually only cost around $2-3.00 to ship one of these via first class usps but I will pay the shipping as long as you are in the continental US.
