This one of a kind knife was finished today 08/18/2014. Knapped from Snowflake obsidian and hafted to an old weathered antler that I sanded and buffed to a nice shine. Finished it with a few wraps of artificial sinew which I then coated with epoxy to keep it from unraveling.

To me this is one of the nicest pieces I've ever made.
I'm going to price it at $125. shipped to US, International will usually be $5 extra to cover additional postage.
It is 10 3/4" long

I have a very small amount of experience knapping obsidian...but not anything even remotely close to that. That is a true work of art.

I really enjoy these obsidian knives. Ophthalmologists used obsidian knives in cataract surgery for awhile in the 70's and 80's until the diamond blades became available. I don't know of anyone using them now but it is very sharp when knapped right.
