Bobby Branton, long time knife thrower, President of The American Knife Throwers Alliance and owner of Branton Knife Company and Stephen McEvoy, owner of the Tru Bal Knife Company are proud to announce that Bobby Branton has purchased Tru Balance Knife Company, aka, Tru Bal knives from Stephen McEvoy.
Bobby Branton will be dedicated to preserving the history of the Tru Balance brand that has been around for over 60 years. Tru Balance throwing knives will continue to be made in the same manner as they have been for the past 60 years in the Branton shop located in Awendaw, South Carolina
This means that Tru Balance throwing knives will ONLY be available for sale from Bobby Branton of Tru Balance throwing knives. Tru Balance knives will also be a source for books written by Harry K. McEvoy and Bobby Branton. Tru Balance Knives will offer The original Tru Balance line of knives that were designed by McEvoy, which will be known as the legacy series as well as other knives designed by McEvoy. To help bring the company to a new generation of throwers, we will be developing a few models that will be targeted at the no spin style of knife throwing that will also be made in the new Tru Balance shop of Bobby Branton.
Even though Stephen McEvoy is retired from years of service in the Insurance industry, Stephen will work closely with Bobby and will be the company historian and will offer his services to authenticate vintage Tru Balance Throwing Knives.
Bobby will still continue to manufacture his brand of pocket knives, fixed blade knives and Tactical folding knives and still provide his customers with some of the finest throwing knives in the world and made in the USA. Contact Bobby at [email protected] for more information or look for us on the web at https://trubalancethrowingknives.com/ or call us at 843-928-3624.

Congratulations, Sir. Awesome to hear you may be using some of that 60+ odd-years worth of designs, too! Exciting! :D
