Shown here for your orienteering pleasure are two Tru-Nord compasses. These are not fluid filled!
These are both vintage compasses which I purchased along the great path of life. Last year, I sent both of these back to the company for cleaning and compensation to my area here in Ohio.
The first is the "Safety Pin On Thru Jacket/Shirt Model", and the second one is the"Wrist Model". The wrist model still carries the original band which is in like new condition. Both of these will be provided in the new drawstring bag in which I received them back from the company. Both of these models are quite clean, but there are a few blemishes in the brass but this should be expected from something that is probably 40 or so years old. There are no dents or dings in the case on either compass. The luminescence on the north point is still visible after exposure to light, but it does not last very long.
These little compasses carry a lifetime replacement warranty regardless of the cause of the failure.
You can buy these brand-new from the company for $44.95, or you can have either of these for $30 each, shipped TYD in a double padded envelope via USPS first class mail.
If you want both of them, take them for $55.00 shipped TYD.
