Truck kit

No zombie preparedness bag? I was hoping to see some AR-15s with drums attached and a few RPGs. Looks like you're prepared for everything... except zombies.
EDIT: Nevermind. You're driving a truck. Just plow into them going 80.

Funny stuff!! :D:D

I hope j williams rolls up in his truck if I ever need first aid or have fallen onto a rocky ledge.

I just hope he isn't drunk when he gets there, I could end up with a little more help than I care to think about!:eek:

forget the knives, I'd be mighty wary of the Stanley FUBAR.

which is why I have one. :-P

I like your kit. Looking at the inventory of yours and others helps me to evaulate my trauma kit. My home emergency kit is loaded with Bandages, (4X4 guaze packs, ABD pads Kerlex... etc). A lot of them! I keep it all in a nice big bag that came with some stuff that I needed for nursing school. I also have various saline bags and IV kits. I can use any of these if I have to in a SHTF situation for multiples of people. My experience has taught me that you can never have too much, as you will go thru your inventory real fast.

Miasma, Iv'e handled one of these at a local building warehouse and I really liked it. Is this something that would be really usefull for the weight penalty if you had to be mobile? Please tell me what your thoughts are about yours. Thanks.

Thats a great kit. The crowbar is a really good idea. I'm going to add one of those to my truck. I don't actually keep too much in my truck. In the back I have a 0 degree sleeping bag, cooking pot, jumper cables, rope and a tarp. I do bring my laptop/camera bag everywhere with me. In that I have a first aid kit that is pretty comprehensive as well as a small fire/water/shelter kit. The bag also has the 4.5" survival knife in it.

Nice to see your kit back together J. I've been working on a kit for my vehicles and got some great ideas from you. Thanks for posting.

Thanks Guys..........

The Fubar is a great tool. I could get into about anyting with it. Its a heavy mofo though. I also carry a tire thumber, and another prybar, and a hatchet back there. As well as Jumper cables, and a floor jack. I learned my lesson when I had to change a flat on the side of the interstate with that poor excuse for a minibottle jack my truck comes with.

Did you buy homeowners or renters insurance in case someone decides to liberate that bag?
