Photos Truck Knives

There's a 119 in the door pocket, a KOA Jaeger in the console and a SAK officer model in the top tray of the console.

In the bed (topper with a half bed length shelf accessible with full opening side windows) is a Mora companion in a milk crate with dog water and bowls and a Vaughn rigger's hatchet in that same milk crate. Always a good sturdy and sharp short handled shovel too.

With my Ranger down with rusted brake lines, my truck knives have been transferred to my Buick sedan. These include a Schrade SCHF55 and a 14” Tramontina bolo. There is also a CRKT M16-SFsomething that was left in the car when I took possession. This is a horrible knife, made worse by its tanto blade, which makes it perfect for all the random unsavory knife tasks that present themselves.

The machete is a necessity in my sweetie’s neighborhood, where the substantial homeless population like to camp in the vacant lot next to her house, and smoke their meth while they disassemble stolen bicycles and discarded appliances underneath her bedroom window. I try to make the area less appealing by regularly clearing the underbrush that gives them cover.

In Minnesota, every motorist needs a knife that will pop open a frozen door. A lot of knives will serve this purpose, but of course, any knife that is already inside the vehicle is going to be useless, which is why I keep a Hultafors GK just inside the back door to my house.

I’ll do some digging around in my truck tomorrow and I’m gonna saw there will be at least 3 in there somewhere.
Probably a Woodmans Pal and a Spyderco Southard, we’ll see what else is in there too.

I carry an old schrade uncle henry lb7 and a old buck 110. For a while I had a buck 119 but I got worried I might get called for concealed carry (in the center console) so i swapped for the 2 folders with under 4" blades.

A SOG Seal Team, Ontario SP-5, Cold Steel shovel, and leatherman PST-ii in each vehicle.
