True Flint & Steel Firemaking

Char cloth and ceder bark work for me. I have chared a fungus found growing on oak trees that works well.

Since it's back - would anyone have a fresh recomendation best on line distributer where I can find a set including container?

I saw a cool one a while back that included the flint/steel in a brass box that also had a built in magnifying glass - real heavy duty looking set up - and also quite classy by the way - had plenty of room for extra char cloth etc. - just can't remember where...

I'm not sure where you can buy them (I'm sure google will tell you), but a quality maker of tinder boxes with glass like you describe is Ted Cash. I have had one for many years and it works great.
