So, here I am, minding my own and reading threads like a good little knife nut and what happens? Koyote comes along and plays muse to me with his little "Pocket Nessmuk" and gets me to thinking.
I know there are a lot of Nessmuk pattern fans here in the WSS section of the forums, so I thought I'd ask a question.
We all know Thoreau, and have a rough idea of what the dimensions of his blade were, and the reasoning, etc.; I got to thinking though, if you were to make a trio, why not do it with some style and continuity.
My idea? A small blade for delicate tasks(ala Koyote's Pocket Nessmuk), a full sized Nessmuk(a la Fiddleback perhaps), and someone needs to make a great big machete style 14-18" tramontina like Nessmuk
WAIT WAIT, here's the icing on the cake.
Piggy backed sheaths, dark leather, copper rivets maybe from largest to smallest. I don't know about the rest of ya, but I think it's a fine idea and sounds just sexy if you ask me. So, what say you?
