Photos True Temper Welland Vale ID

    My girlfriend picked this up in Wallace Idaho. A birthday gift for me.
    Just curious what pattern this is. I could not find anything on the google. With the few searches I did.
    The bit is ground down a lot. Weight is 3 lbs 1oz.

    that's a slaughter axe, otherwise known as a cow killer. i had no idea they ever made it to mass production

    Hmmm so I looked up slaughter axe.
    And they are quite a bit different.

    If it makes her feel any better they were first designed as a work axe, called a poll axe. Slaughtermen adopted them later.

    Oh, and they were rated XXX so she ought to dig that! :D
