Man, that is one sweet rifle. Do you like the smaller ring? Have you thought about the larger loop ring? They work better for me since I have larger hands.

I have also seen a small ring that someone opened up, which may have been a great compromise.

That Aussie saddle looks well used. How many years did you say you have been riding it?

Here is a pic of a saddle that was made by a local maker for me. I have been trying to sell this, but with no luck yet. Perhaps I will get rid of it before the RW's are gone in OH.

Does that 16 inch barrel shoot well enough for what you are doing?

I know you said you shoot off your horse. That is a high quality horse around here that will let you shoot from the saddle.
