Does anyone know of a RAT dealer in the Atlanta area? I see there is brigade quartermasters up in kennesaw and i might make the trek up there one day but is there anyone closer?

Im in the market for a new blade and really like the RAT knives "on paper" but i need to get a hold of one to really see if it will fit me well handle wise.

"Trust the Force, Luke"... it will.

If for some strange, odd reason it didn't, there is always the exchange and it would be gone for what you paid.

RC-4 is a great starter, all-around.

Never look back! :D

You might have an easier time finding a BF member who lives near you than a store. cmdr is right though, if you don't like it, you won't have much problem moving it on the exchange. They don't last long there.

I offer a 30 day full refund or exchange satisfaction guarantee & I know some other dealers do as well.

Thanks guys, i knew there wouldnt be any problems in the end, just like to do my homework early.

When is blade coming up? I found out about it last year the day after it closed.

My first RAT knife was the RC6 due to concerns about the handle size on the RC4. After chatting with a couple of the folks here on the forum and Jeff, I went ahead and ordered my RC4. What I have found is that the more you use this knife the more addicted to it you become. It was designed and redesigned then tweaked for even better performance while being tested and retested in the field. This really shows once the blade is put to work. It has become my EDC, and is with me constantly. You can't go wrong with the RC4.

Shotgunner, that was mean, but funny. Thanks for the morning laugh.

Hi Bullwinkle, I live in the ATL as well, and I'm sorry to say it, but you're not going to find any good knife stores in the area. Except for one weekend in May. Then you can just head on over to the Cobb Galleria Center and visit the best knife store in the world- the Blade show! The lack of brick and mortar stores the rest of the year is made up by having Blade in our backyard. You gotta go to Blade, man. It's amazing.

The rest of the year, your best bet is to shop online. There are plenty of great places online to buy whatever you need.

Im going to the show this year. A guy i knew in high scholl is one of the exhibitors and i think ill make a surprise visit. This will be my best opportunity to handle a bunch of different knives to make my decision THAT MUCH HARDER.

My next knife will be for my outdoor kit and im really liking the RC5 but i now there are other (gasp!) makers out there with similar designs so we'll see..

I think you'll end up with the RC-5.

Price point, quality, sheathing system and feel....The RC-5 is second to none in my mind.

I live about 90 miles north of Atlanta, and made the drive to Brigade for an RC3. It was well worth it. Will you be able to buy knives at the Blade show? I thought I read somewhere that they might be giving some away but not selling.

I got the same feeling shotgunner. Ive been scouring the net for a long time looking for something and nothing catches my eye quit the same way. love the shape of the blade and the whole is beautiful. Considering its thiickness and all, can the RC5 acheive and keep a good scary sharp edge?

EMGear.net is based out of North GA, I dont think they have a store though. Good people. I have ordered from them a couple times and have talked to them and bought from them at a gun show.

Bought an RC-3 after reading the forums and reviews, without handling one.

Do it, you won't regret it..... but be warned, once you have one, you'll pine for more....:D

My RC-5 shaves the hair off my arm, but that's the factory edge. My hand finished edge most likely wont be quite as good, but it should be good enough for what I intend to use the knife for.

emgear.net is in Cumming, GA and they have great prices.
