Trying out a slip joint.

Awesome.

Gotta love those Case Yellow CV knives. Good stuff

On a side note...Capt. Carl is just known (at least by some) to really really like denim.

As far as I know he's been known to pay around $100+ for a good pair of denim jeans, and I am pretty sure he has some custom made.

Haha! Yeah, you're not supposed to wash them for as long as possible.
You get results like this:

You can also get Levi's 501xx shrink to fit jeans at macys for around 40-50. I only have one pair that's above 100, I just like talking about it to see if anyone else does the same here.

Well I know I'm not in the metro sumin another world, but I can see now I've throwed thousands of dollars of damned Ole Jeans away over the years. Hell You couldn't wear them you showed to work. They'd run you off, and I worked for some pretty ruff Ole boys. Besides that if my Jeans looked like that I'd run my wife off.. Well live and learn I guess. Oh by the way do you like Overalls ? I got a few pair that's damn sure patinaerd and I could let'em go for a Hunerd a pair. Well let me know.. :D:D:D

Let's see if we can't swing this discussion back to traditional knives...

jlfletcher83,

It appears you and your family are in the category of serious knife users like your Grandad and your Dad before you. You sir, are in good company. You have now come around to what actually works best is all,, and works consistently well.. The time honored and true tested traditional patterns of cutting tools that have been around for centuries in most cases is what is and spoken about in here. I hope you stay on here abouts in our little neck of the woods and share what you know and learn with us too as there is a wealth of knowledge to be gleaned. We're pleased to have you. This is a great place to be, and the ladies and gents in here are at the top of the heap regarding BladeForums.com's roster..

Many Blessings,

Anthony
