Trying to choose an ESEE, need help please...

Looking for a little help...

Need a fixed blade utility knife for my goto bag likin the look of ESEE range I'm torn between the 4 & 5.

Really liking the desert tan one too!

Any advice, testimonials

Also looking for recommendations for retailers

Yep, those are the stock canvas Micarta handles.

If anything they might appear slightly lighter in the pic than they are in person.

I agree. I have a five, and love it more than anything in the WORLD. jks, but thats true, if you are not going for DAMN!!!!!! then go for four 4 four

4, hands down, the 5 is too big. Once you get a 4 in your hands you'll never look back. I've had one for awhile now to go with my Junglas and it's the best money I ever spent. Unless you plan on having to cut your way out of a plane or something I think you'd be bummed with the 5 over the 4. The 4 is still plenty beefy but you'll find it cuts better due to the grind. It's really the perfect size.
