Hey, I'm trying to find the name/website of a small knife company I recall reading about some time ago.

They were featured in either Blade Magazine or Knives Illustrated, and principally made small/medium sized fixed blades.

The knives they made were skeleton handles shaped like ovals, D2 steel, fully serrated, and had handles wrapped with gutted paracord. They were upswept very slightly at the tip, and the serrations looked scalloped rather than the alternating big and small pattern.

I cannot, for the life of me, recall the name of this maker, but I recall it was tested by the writer of the article and was given quite a glowing reception, though never a formal review.

Any help you can offer is appreciated, I've looked and can't find the company.

Yeah, it's not those. Thanks.

I'm gonna go through my bookmarks 1 by 1 and see if I can't find it. I REALLY want to find this company.

EDIT: I found it!

^ Exactly. That's what attracted me to it in the first place. I wanted something with a lot of cutting power in a small package that can process things from rabbits to deer, and my brain for some reason went back to the magazine article.

I guess it stuck with me as being one of the best utilitarian designs I had ever seen, because I had the picture in my brain and I knew the details, just not the maker or the name of the knife. I would imagine that's the only time a knife being stuck in somebody's head was actually a benefit! :P

There was a thread on here a little bit ago about Johnson Adventure Blades and if I remember correctly the few people who had them really liked them. Thanks for reminding me to check them out again
