Trying to find the XHP Manix 2

Yep, we the people on this forum represent a VERY small percentage of the knife buying public.
 
I would think that the knife buying public is not going to fork over the cash for a spyderco, except for maybe the ladybug or something being carried at Gander Mtn. This is what confuses me sometimes, cause the general public just buys whatever is cheap at the big box store. If "we" the real knife appreciators are not persuading sales, who really is?
 
And let's not forget that many knives, as well as other products, are gifts from someone who isn't versed in what is is they are giving. Nationwide that element alone is probably tens of thousands of knives each year.

I see tons of Spyderco, Benchmade and Kershaw knives get sold to non-knife nuts at REI and LL Bean all the time. Regardless, with the nut crowd so small a percentage, than its even more important to have a knife that sells, no secondary market.
