Trying to get in touch with Paul Basch

I do know that Paul Basch was in and out of the hospital about a year ago... haven't heard since then as to his health (or still alive?) status.
 
That wouldn't be a misspelling for Paul Bos, the notorious heat-treater, would it?
 
No, Paul Basch is the guy who is/was behind A. G. Russel's 'Cutting Edge' outfit. Super nice guy too. Knows his sharp & pointys.
