Any recommendations on getting rubber to adhere to polished micarta? Like this knife but handles too slippery, only fault with it really. Suggestions for enhancing grip ?

I'm guessing it's paper micarta. Simply de-grease the micarta, and tape should stick well.

If you want to glue rubber to it, just sand it with some fresh 120 grit paper.

You could probably get away with just sanding it, if it doesn't need to be really grippy. If it's not polished, micarta gets a little grippy-er when it's wet- even sweat.

Just put some contact cement on the handle, then put the rubber or tape over it. Allow 24 hrs to cure. Viola.

micarta gets pretty grippy when at lower gits of finish, I would just go over it with progressively lower git sand paper till it feels right

I think that grip tape, or rubber would ruin the look of the handle.

If it is micarta, you can sand it with a lower grit.

Media blasting will work great also.
