Good day. I recently bought this Collins blade. It's supposed to be old but I want to make sure but finding more information using the SN. these blades where supposed to be widely used between 1850 and 1950, I would like to better date its manufacturing date. Attached some pictures.

Thanks in advance for any help,

Collins, but not Collins. It's a type of machete called a Cutacha, basically a dress machete, that is sometimes used for fighting. The handle isn't a Collins type (https://i.pinimg.com/736x/90/83/f1/9083f1ac582a09e8ed714fed29c48f97--american-war-spanish.jpg), but rather a local Latin or Central American made handle cast on to an old blade. The Collins #216 machete is this style - https://aarauctions.com/live/images/auction-3940/large-205308.0_1.jpg .

Your handle is based on one Weyersberg/Imacasa used 1960's - 80's, but was also made locally with minor changes.
