yep it's mine--glad that you like it--Im currently forging out 10 more knives for knifeart.com. I hope to post the pics for them soon. I have lots of knife pics but I cant figure out how to make them small enough to post there. O yes, I can make you one just like that big bowie, if you would like!

For what it's worth, I think this uderscores why makers are better served using their real names instead of internet pseudonyms.

Eric those are some fine knives - I really like that big bowie. I look forward to seeing more of your work here on the forums.

That bowie is fabulous, Eric. Do you sell all your knives through Knife Art or do you take orders from individuals?
 
thanks all for the kind words--It was 110 Deg. in my shop today. To be able to come inside, cool off and read that people enjoy my work makes it all worthwhile. Im currently making 10 knives for knifeart.com, but I do custom orders. I've been attempting to become a full time maker, and all orders are very important to me. When I first started to become a member of Bladeforums, I used the first part of my hotmail account as a user name. long_deep_wide@hotmail.com , Roger's idea to use my name as a user name is the way to go--- can i change now??
 
You have to go HERE. There is a $10.00 charge to change your user name.

Eric, you should get yourself a website. It can be a benefit for someone looking at full time knifemaking. You have to get your name out to as many people as possible and a web site can be an integral part of marketing yourself.
 
I have somewhat of a website--I share one with Carl Geisser--a friend of mine and a great knifemaker. dangerouscurvesforge.com. Carl designed the site, it loads slowly on my computer-but it is a start. Maybe some one that designs websites needs a knife???
