Hi,

Im probably way to late doing this, but heres the story:

In 2004 I paid a P. Moyes (heard of him?) $199.99 US for a Tops Ghost Rider that I never recieved. I believe it was from a website that sold knives, though I cant recall what it was. I have a receipt of the money order from my bank.
I never pursued this, because there was a lot going on in my life at the time including moving to Japan for an indefinite period of time (but the knife was to be sent to my parents address), so I forgot all about it until I found the receipt recently.

It would be nice if I could track down the seller and either get my money back or get the knife, as unlikely as this probably is.

If anyone has any idea who this person is, or what their website is, or any information that could help I would be very grateful. Otherwise, I suppose the transaction will just be buried in the sands of time!

Thank you!

11 years ago..I feel this is a jabbing in the dark issue??
Curious ..?? Why 14 years later are you seeking your cash back ..Second--?? Why here?

It probably is. I honestly forgot all about it until I found the receipt today. I understand the unliklihood of this producing anything, but figured it's worth a shot.
I came here because I know some forums have tight communities, and that many sellers, dealers, makers, etc. know each other from shows or even just from the forum.

This is all very true and that is what we have here. But 11 years, that has got to be a record, at least for us. Hard to say what could have happened to the guy, could have closed up shop, changed user name, gotten a regular job in the private sector working for someone else, etc.Best of luck in this, if we can help we will, but wow...11 years! ;)

Honestly, I'd be surprised if in fact you track him down he would remember or even have the records available to even resolve it. If it was shipped and lost in the mail it is unlikely any tracking or insurance paperwork would still be around 11 years later. And no insurance is going to pay after this length of time. If someone came to me looking for a refund claiming never receiving an item over a decade later, I'd think they were nuts imo.
