TSA approved folder....

Well, not only is that great in that it meets the TSA guidelines, it is also a spectacular knife and my favorite slipjoint to date. The addition of the "high-tech" bead blasted blade to an otherwise traditional package makes it the first slip joint I want to own.

Thanks Ivan, I do appreciate it.

- just love that knife, Todd - a real beaut.

Well, it may satisfy TSA standards, but that doesn't mean the airlines themselves will be willing to accept as I've heard..........

So? - Delta Airlines - or any other like airline is going to research passengers AFTER the TSA does it's job? That would be very interesting......
Just fly American or United.....:)

Sadly, its the jobs-worth security guys that can cause utter misery despite what regulations may be in place.

We know that a 60mm blade penknife is already allowed, but they are still confiscating these from passengers. Going through 'Security', if you read the small writing, it says all such items are still under the discretion of the officer.

I had this confiscated - it's the screw-driver that secures the grub-screw for the Garmin on my Harley...

...........another pal had his belt-buckle confiscated because it was in the shape of pistol, and it was hollowed-out inside and just less than 2" across.

Given the attitude of security guards seeking 'their power' at times, the last thing I'd do is risk a nice penknife - especially an utterly stunning TA Davidson!
