Hi!

Some weeks ago, I ordered at this shop http://www.tsaknives.com/ two GEC knives. I´ve already bought there several times knives several knives from GEC. This is one of the shops that ship these knives oversea to very nice price.

So long, there was nothing to complain about. But at this order, I added a #72 Mini Lockback Hunter to my shopping cart. I got this one (and a #12 Powderhorn Jack which was in great condition). The #72 was in not the best conditions. It had gaps and side-to-side bladeplay as well as bladeplay up-&-down. I wrote this to Greg, the owner of TSAknives, in an email yesterday.
I got an email back, that the money I spent on that knife has been refunded. I already had the package in hand sending this knife back to the US. I wrote him, if he wants to see pics of the knife at all etc. He wrote me, I can keep the knife because all the costs like shipping again, customs & fees would cause a "cost explosion". Nothing to say about the time that it will take until it will get back to Germany.

Being honest, I´ve never seen anything like this before. This is an example of an outstanding service.

I can´t thank him enough for taking the time, writting emails and helping me to solve the problem. Always in a kind way of talking. I really appreciate people that stand behind their things they sell and behind their costumers.

This is just one way to thank him in some way for his service. He´s a real gentleman and one of Best out there!
It won´t be the last time I bought my knives at Greg´s shop! :)

And there´s still something to add: As I already told, I ordered there already several times. Everytime I got the answers on stupid emails about shipping time etc. in very fast time and he was very patient with me, as a beginner in oversea shopping and shipping in general. The invoices were always added outside the package, so I could pay the customs and fees directly at the postman and had not to drive to their authority office about 40 miles (each direction) from were life.

I agree. I've always had FIRST RATE international service from Greg, a man you can place complete trust in. Very rare.

Regards, Will

I have had nothing but the best service from Greg and TSA knives, first class, my first stop for GEC's.

I had a feeling it was Greg. 99 percent of my GEC's have come from him. He is second to none, a gentleman and he goes over the top. Sometimes so much I don't feel right accepting how accomodating he will be. TSA knives is the absolute tops for an online dealer. You can't ask for more.

Will, Kris & Kevin,

I´m glad you had the same very good experiences with Gregs business. A real gentleman to 100%!

After reading Kevin's suggestion in your other thread on this, I popped over here to see if you had posted.

No surprise.

As I read in your initial thread over on the traditionals forum about how the dealer took care of you I was pretty sure it was going to be Greg. He took good care of me when I had a GEC 73 that was impossible for me to open, and even helped steer me away from others of that brand that had very hard springs. I rarely buy new knives now, but if I do in the future, I will always look at TSA knives as my first choice.

The comments above are consistent with my experience with TSA Knives. I would definitely deal with them again.
